Use your Cortex 1.25 inch straightener to get the following looks:

Straight: Separate about an inch of hair. Slide the straightener from the crown to the end. If possible, use a comb to ensure the hair is straight as it slides through the flat iron.
Wavy: Separate one-inch chunks of hair and wrap around one of the plates, much as you would with a curling iron. Quickly pull away from head.
Curly: Separate one-inch chunks of hair and wrap around one of the plates, much as you would with a curling iron. Quickly pull away from head. Experiment with different looks by leaving hair wrapped for longer or shorter lengths of time.
